It's all because of the design which looks like iPhone, and even though people get an inferior phone than what the competition has to offer, they still buy those to look like having an iPhone at first glance.

AnonD-510098, 23 May 2017Sony isnt even in top 5 lmfao. Samsung will still be in top 3 for a while yet. And Huawei is... moreyah, I wish the top 5 would still consist of Samsung, Apple, Sony, HTC, LG, and that Motorola was still owned by Google. Those brands still somehow have their own vision of a smartphone (even though HTC is moving away from their design language and Motorola now only is a cheap Chinese as well, but I also feel like Sony and LG came back to the roots with the no-compromise XZ Premium and the small-bezel display-focused G6) and don't just try to be best at copying the newest iPhone.

BREAKING NEWS!!! Company that moves products base on low costs will sell more than one that do not. The reverse is also true, company that moves a lot of products on low costs will never win on the profits front. Some will say "I don't care about so and so profits," to which others will say "I don't care about so and so market shares." It's a vicious cycle to which only fanatics seems to care, to which I say find a better habit.
