Hopping Apple use Micro Led technology for Iphone 9 and even with iphone 8 will be solved some amoled issues like color shifting when looking at screen in different angles. Dual tone display calibration issues. Better screen tone calibration with True Tone Display with full light spectrum ambient sensor display. RGB standart pixel arrangement screen matrix. Better direct sunlight polarisation technology like patented Nokia 'Clear black display' (CBD). I think Micro LED will show better amoled rezults in some issues fixing in 2018. But this technology at early stage and its not ready for mass production till 2018 iphone 9. I hopping apple Iphone still will show high quality standart OLED Iphone 8 this year.

Anonymous, 23 May 2017This is great news. If the iPhone 8 will feature 5.8in at the iPhone 7 size, this will hopeful... moreA bit of how S8 was in "S7's size"? (In fact it's as tall as a Note phone, much bigger than S7).
Thanks but no thanks, there are plenty phablets out there , killing the last *phone* IMO would be a dumb move.

iPhone 10 will be small but have a big display due to special "Star Trek" technology. It will beam protons of light energy in front of the small display to make it seem large.

Really hoping Apple is innovative with its display, build materials and quality, performance (as weve come to known) and camera performance this year (uhu, 2018 already for GSMArena!?).

I mean, its either an iPhone 8 or a Pixel 2, but ive been using android for so long now...

This is great news. If the iPhone 8 will feature 5.8in at the iPhone 7 size, this will hopefully in the same ballpark as Xperia Compact series which in my opinion have the best chassis size for a phone, at least for my hand, because I think my iPhone 7 could still be a little bit smaller.
