Looks like OnePlus is really a flagship killer. They create a flagship device each year and kill it with the launch of another.

The V30 might be like the V34 going waterproof but will kill removable battery forever. The G6 went that route, so it wouldn't surprise me if the V30 goes that way as well.
I have five phones released in 2016 that could be good enough to last me for the next five years. My next gadget now is surprisingly a smartwatch which I considered useless before. Apple Watch Series 2 or 3. I need it for GPS and to act like Dick Tracy.

LG G5/V20 and Google Pixel user here. I would definitely try out a OnePlus over Samsung because I hate curved display and laggy software. Either OnePlus, Huawei, or Sony would be next on my list to try something new.

SKR..., 25 May 2017Since Oneplus didn't drop it's price at all, I don't think at that price it's worth to buy it.... moreActually samsung has software update issues too in real life.
And OnePlus 3T has enjoyed an awesome update lifecycle until now.
I personally like the stock-ish os. It's about personal preferences seriously

With G6 they fixed looks and destroyed everything else (so , yeah!)
can't wait to see the final specs!
Say gudbye to Android O for OP3T....
AnonD-647854, 25 May 2017It will be around the £500 mark not £400 they've used flagship specs this year They're not gonna charge that much money! Impossible.
SKR..., 25 May 2017Since Oneplus didn't drop it's price at all, I don't think at that price it's worth to buy it.... moreSammy is too mainstream. It's a cookie cutter, bandwagon, follow-the-herd type of device. Not everyone wants to blend in and do what everyone else they know is doing. Some people need a different route to take and Oneplus satisfies that need. At least for me. The 3T is CONSTANTLY involved in comparison tests with Sammy and Steve and Life is Good. It is CONSTANTLY held up as a shining example of what an affordable smartphone could and should be. It's punching WAY above its weight, so to speak. It shouldn't have a prayer. It shouldn't even be an afterthought, much less a contender. And yet, it is. Over and over and over again, it comes thru and performs like a champion. It's just a GREAT phone and I believe the 5 is going to be superior where it counts.

It struggles a bit in low light. But it's hundreds of dollars less expensive as well so what can you really expect. It's a wonderful device and I'll take it over an overpriced Sammy all day long.
It's a classic sales technique to boost sales temporarily. We use this technique quite often in our field.
I really wish OP5 has USB 3.1 with DisplayPort.
Love this feature on G5 (now only $300) which allows you to connect a hdmi monitor, Logitech K400 and charge the phone all with a single adapter - essentially turning a smartphone into a netbook.
All that CPU horsepower and ample RAM is underused without a docking solution, OnePlus just need to properly implement USB-C specs.
SKR..., 25 May 2017Since Oneplus didn't drop it's price at all, I don't think at that price it's worth to buy it.... moreYour so to the point as I am currently using OnePlus 3T. Yes, it is smooth and faster in general performance compared to the Samsung Galaxy S7/Edge, but I still like the screen and camera department of the S7/Edge. If those issues has been improved then I would definitely order OnePlus 5.
Since Oneplus didn't drop it's price at all, I don't think at that price it's worth to buy it. Spending a $100 more can give you S7 Edge, that's much better in terms of design, camera, display. Even a 20-30 bucks extra can give you S7 that's still decent. I know now a few people might argue about speed and performance, but I guarantee in daily life scenarios it won't even appear. Saving 1 or 2 seconds for any app to load on Oneplus 3T is not a big deal!
Thank God! Bring on the OnePlus 5!!
4000mah battery
1080P AMOLED screen
Headphone Jack
Snapdragon 835
Good dual camera
£400 max
A nice trick to boost sales... Announce stock running out, then when it does and 5 is not out yet more will magically appear to satisfy the demand before new model is ready. No sane company would discontinue a product before having the successor ready to ship immediately.
