What I was meaning is
"No system-wide file manager
No Bluetooth file transfers
No USB mass storage mode
Limited third-party apps availability
No Flash or Silverlight support in the browser
Too dependent on Zune software for file management and syncing
No video calls
New ringtones available only through the Marketplace
Music player lacks equalizer presets
No DivX/XviD video support (automatic transcoding provided by Zune software)
No sign of free Bing maps Navigation so far
No internet tethering support"
This is from what GSM said about the limitations. I wish they would get rid of most of these.
AnonD-5540, 15 Apr 2011What are you talking about? Rooting and unlocking are totally different things by the wayYep, just I see Android have some restrictions too, and need to modify the hardware in order to have full access to the phone.
However some PDA sites are working in remove all the restrictions to WMP, like that was befor make it to Windows Mobile 6, I think that's no excuse to migrate from one plataform to other, is like....I go to switch to Linux because it's fre...BUT I will partitionate my hard disk to have WIndows 7 because I like to play games...
Is totally absurd switch for that reason...
Dave, 15 Apr 2011Im all for windows 7 phones but untill they get rid of there restrictions im sticking with androidAll those restrictions would be lifted in upcoming nokia w7 and w8 with a queue of updates subsequently as nokia are free to customise it the way they want.......
AnonD-4697, 15 Apr 2011I don't get it. In androidyou also need to unlock (un-root) the device for fully use it....... moreWhat are you talking about? Rooting and unlocking are totally different things by the way

i think now applefanboys couldn't say anything again... iOS can barely run the HTML 5 that steve jobs always pride about. TAKE THAT FANBOYS~~
20fps on wp7 ....... And 11 fps on retail android phone .....,.. Hahaha
means mango comes out better than android webkit browser and the 'crappy safari'
the only thing wp7 really needs is a better eye candy UI like that of android
bad news for microsoft - nokia relationship critisisers and die hard android fans.......hope it gets better at time of release and kicks android out of market
Yeh!!! I agree that Phone@rena are bias to (HTC and Samsung)phone compare to others.
Please, Microsoft, juts get rid of the iOS-like restrictions and WP7 will be perfect.
This feature for WP7 is not just good, but great. However, I'm quite worried that some sort of techie stuffs like this one won't matter to a normal consumer. For example, here in my country, most of the people don't even care to know the specifications of a handset. They just want an easy-to-use cellular phone. That is why iPhone is very popular among consumers nowadays. Plus of course all the hype being brought by some biased websites. I'm not dropping names, but Phone@rena s*cks! Lol. Jk.
Well this is the kind of results we wanna see...
Looks like WM7 is going in the right path, I hope see any time soon Nokia W Series for play with this OS.
