Latest version should be an upgrade and not downgraded like this one. 625 for 650. Xiaomo disappoints.

I had one but returned ... moreOf course you knew it was Lcd before purchasing, no need to compare with Amoled, also you bought one that came with Chinese rom, that's why those Chinese apps and characters were there. Whenever you want to buy any Xiaomi phone, ensure you check if it has official Global stable rom. Anyway, you could have flashed the Global stable rom yourself but, you might not find it interesting to do, so it's best you let the seller do it.

Too bad they didn't put enough modem frequencies in it, to allow it to work properly with the LTE frequencies in the USA market.

Marvin, 26 May 2017Yes, 3 mil units, but they didn't sell that many because they used the 625. The sold that many... morexiaomi will be lucky if they sell half as much mi max 2. They degraded the performance of the max 2 by a huge amount. In 2017 sd 625 is almost a lower end chipset.

This company is a joke. The big screen phablet friends are disappointed.
1.No LTE Band 20 at 800Mhz. Useless for half the planet.
2.The 625 CPU is a major downgrade for 2017.
3. No NFC . Electronic payment is a standard in 2017

Yes, 3 mil units, but they didn't sell that many because they used the 625. The sold that many because of 650 & 652
The problem is the 625 was a capable chipset last year,it's a good enough this year, but it will be insufficient by next year and unusable after that. Would you really buy a phone like that?

Great concept if you want a really big phone that is still compact.
I had one but returned because of a black patch on the screen.
Other issues are LCD (cant compete with AMOLED), massive amounts of chinese rubbish apps and it was difficult to install google play.

Time to get one! It has stereo speaker! For playing mobile legend.. I think the batery will last me 4 to 5 hours of continuous play. Wanted to get mix max 1, but the black bar to annoying to look at. Now since mix max 2 is out.. I ' think' I will get it.
