Instead of this nonsense, just continue using the removable battery in V30.

Just like i am not fond of phones with humongous bezels, i reluctantly add these elongated
& narrow phones with 18:9AR to the list. Don't get me wrong, these phones have very beautiful displays but the aspect ratio is slightly off to me...(too long & narrow, not enough usable real estate compared to regular 16:9AR displays of similar sizes).

Though the design is old, but the implementation is new and innovative. The small secondary panel looks beautiful and can be used in many ways including a touchscreen keyboard. Like a camera editing control panel with camera apps, a proper music player panel like winanp, or even a virtual game controller like old handheld game devices etc. Overall I can see a lot of potential in his simple but powerful layout. If BlackBerry priv has done that than it was a totally mind blowing device.

acemang, 28 May 2017the only android brand that "age well" is htc. all other brands start to look and feel bad aft... moreMy S6 edge is still as new and I'll say it's a masterpiece in design. 7mm, 130g, 5.1 curved display. Well S8 is currently the best looking smartphone but S6 edge will remain the sexiest smartphone for years to come. HTC????? Those plain outdated phones!

BlazyB, 28 May 2017Im a Samsung fan but LG is on to something here. This is a great and practical design. Imagin... moreIt wont be the first phone which is hard to repair(and honestly, that is service centers problem, not mine),anyway we learned that repair cost does'nt depend of iFixit score ;)

Secondly, just two years ago no one complained how much they need waterproofing! That was Sony's owners treat(and a handfull of actives).Nowdays everyone is screaming "waterproofing".
My two cents:If anyone want their 700-800$ phone with him in a pool,is either very rich or very foolish(to say the least)

P.S.I hope this phone wont stay as another ptototype

Kinaglo, 28 May 2017Totally true. Many people hate LG even for the most innovative designs. Galaxy S8 is full of s... moreThis. I honestly don't see problems with this idea. IMO they'll find a way to waterproof it. Also can't expect removable battery forever from them. They tried and flopped. People buy more phones with non removable than removable battery. Can't blame them for following the trend. Even the ibrand did it

Galaxy S8 is full of screen and no one questions its ability to withstand falls. LG does its own with falls in mind, and people complain. Not Good at all
