this design is nice, but too many insult from people because it's LG. If this design was come from Samsung not LG, I bet many people will praised the design.. nowadays many people are only idiots, they are loyal only to specific brand like fanatics..
interesting design, minimalist and futuristic
there is a huge potential if proper executed!
nice design LG
really like this one
What's the benefit of two displays?
IDK why but this concept reminds me of the Nokia N95
I really like this design in theory. The nav buttons are never too far down (unlike a taller screen) so you can hold the phone centrally and you have options for how much screen space you want with different use scenarios.
I hope something like it comes about in a product.
I like LG phones but the quality is bad , they fall apart after a few months use
AnonD-633729, 28 May 2017Yeah. Especially sony. They produced phones with same design for 8 consecutive generations. Lmao!Show me that Sony (Ericsson) device which was able to slide BOTH horizontally and vertically. Maybe there were such but I can't think of any. Anyway, it would be useful to replace physical keyboards with a second screen which could serve as a keyboard, gaming pad, media controls and whatever you're doing at the moment. And you could use it both in portrait and landscape orientation

If LG made it to look exactly like the render I would buy it! The secondary display on the bottom is a cool concept.
Im a Samsung fan but LG is on to something here. This is a great and practical design. Imagine if some features like the music player can be controlled on the smaller display without waking up the main one. That would be a real battery saver but my God, this phone would be night mare to fix or to waterproof for that matter.
LG cannot settle on a consistent design. One year, and they relocated volume buttons at the back of the phone then another year they tried modular then another for secondary display then another year again for more compact design. And now, they'll try that design too? LG's in a discord and thats a fact.

P.S. - I am a Samsung S8 user and not an LG fanboy !!

Hopefully LG can find a way to keep the removable battery while making the V30 waterproof
To be honest, i dont really use my second display on my v20. I just hope they keep the removable battery. Otherwise I'll just jump ship. Removable battery is the one thing lg was still doing for its flagships except for recent g6
This won't be a mainstream but nice to have for certain people. I like those cut-and-try!
(..but after all I never buy LG again coz I went through the bootloop with G3.)
You all should be worry about battery life. Remember ticker screen. It lower endurance rating a whole lot. I dont understamd why LG doing this if their phone battery life never even improve.
