Its a Blackberry Priv except the keyboard is a screen. How well does that goes for Blackberry? Bad. Very bad. Nice concept though. Extending screen is the only thing I like about it. If only LG can make a bigger version. Phone to tablet sliding entension screen. Now that would be useful considering bezel less display is perfected.

A slider whose bottom part slides both in portrait and landscape orientation - now that would be something else. This thing becomes useless as soon as you flip the device. Instead, a second mini-screen which shows the time and your notifications when the main one is off and the navigation buttons otherwise is all I would need. Still, LG at least tries to be innovative. Something you can't really say about the majority of other manufacturers

The design looks nice. A bit gimmicky. Google's VR DayDream is supposed to be compatible with the V30. I doubt it will look like this concept.

                        Killed removable battery...

Who cares? By now LG is for kids, used to be for pro people that want infinite autonomy. Now you'd need to charge like the rest of the peasants...

LG, if you're going to do this, forget the Apple Touch Bar, add a larger than BB KeyOne mechanical keyboard. And wireless charging. And I'll buy one, because the BB KeyOne keyboard is too small and so is the screen.

If screen at bottom was seamlessly connected to main one in 16:9, slided out in 18:9, I wouldn't mind. Either way it still better than to have such 2.screen on top. Looking again, 1. and last screenshot looks like that. Would be killer feature for sure.

Doesn't seem realistic. You can't put a proper case on this phone. A phone vendor wouldn't give up an accessory option that would make great money.

Its not and will not be final way to show info or additional options, therefore is more easy to get used to one big screen even if 21:9 than 2 screens. May be cool but not future-proof. Way to make things messy, just make superwide screen like in lg chocolate.

i hope they would consider making a 3.5" screen device slide to get a 4" screen device. ( iphone 4 to iphone 5 screen size) these 2 device have same width but different size of screen. #LG

I think I'm having an idea with the camera layout at the back, not likely a 4 camera sensor but 3. It seems a preparation for the AR approach given the positive reception to ASUS AR tango project. Probably LG will stick to their tested formula of normal/wide angle lens and the addition to depth tracker sensor and ofcourse the LED flash. Sounds legit if you will ask me, but let see how it turns out.

*btw LG V series are experimental designs for different market compared to G series

That's useless. a slider with real Qwerty is something that makes sense. Here, you slide and still type on same touchscreen. Phone gets bulkier, thicker, with bigger bezels and still have smaller battery. And still same or even less thickness for camera (let its 9.5mm thick, 2.5 +7, so camera will still have 7mm space or an inevitable hump). and future slider problems.
