I was talking about a "marketing strategy". Oppo phones have an uncanny resemblance to an iPhone, and it SELLS LIKE HOTCAKES in Asia. Why? Because it looks like an iPhone. (yes, im repeating myself). They dont care wether its better or not, if it looks like an iPhone, they will feel "cool and in-the-crowd". I know this, because I live in a 3rd world country myself. The people are crazy about Oppos and iPhone copycats because of the iPhone-eqsue design. Why does my comment makes people think that im a "high class rich super fab person" lmao pls read properly.

I honestly dont understand what are you trying to say beside calling me "rich" and that im a "high class" person with a taste of the 'iPhones". You clearly dont understand what im trying to say dont you? What i trying to say is that "It's a marketing strategy made by the chinese company". Anything that looks like an iPhone will sell in Asia, because of the social status that having an iPhone makes them "cool". I myself cant afford an overpriced iPhone lol nor caring about social status.

And, most people here don't care about update, only handful of tech savvy people care about update, so fast and long update is not selling point here
I even see someone using galaxy s4 and stuck at jellybean

It's due to some quite well known celebs doing crazy amounts of ads and praising the camera. And their customer base is mostly selfie lovers and/or not really bright when it comes to tech. Its super pointless arguing with these people. Arguing with a rock will give you better results.

I cannot wait to get my hands on this phone. Switching from Apple and looks to be a great spec'ed phone. If Samsung and Apple had a baby they would call it Oppo. :)

Because iPhone is branded as the "highclass" phones for the rich and fabulous, so in 3rd would country like india, indonesia, philippines, etc, this phone sell like hot cakes.
