I love the OS on my Lumia 950 and the cam is amazing but that's it. Windows Store is dead and you need a power plant in your pocket for this brick and I cant wait for the OnePlus 5 to come out :D

As a Android user, I honestly think that if Microsoft really try harder ( or hard enough to be matter), windows with one platform across many different device wouldn't be a dream, or hard to achieve as the hardware ( even mobile devices hardware) are getting more and more powerful, and compact.

Microsoft will release a phone sooner or later as nadella said previously that they will release the most ultimate mobile device and he said later that they will sure release a phone but it will not look like the phones that are there today.

There is only one possible branch - that which can switch to full W10 after connecting large screen. Cannot imagine something else.

I'm not surprised at all. IMO, it's more like an experiment to test a new shell for handheld devices. We all know that Microsoft is moving toward a single core to fit all. Put desktop shell and it will be desktop OS. Put Mobile shell and it will become phone OS. Something like that?

Microsoft is planning to do a mobile phone running full Windows, no news here. The announced ARM compiler they are working on with Qualcomm was the first hint.

I really wish the Surface Phone concept went ahead :(
Surface Pros are quite expensive, but if a smartphone was running Windows 10 (the true W10) with application control and obviously with developers to back it up for a mobile device, it would be such an awesome smartphone with a stylus!
