Apple's upcoming iphone 5 could only be below the sgs II's guns.. for them to make a lawsuit this late against the galaxy s... i mean cmon... is it only now (a week before sgs II release) that they realize they have to sue samsung for copying iphone 4...
after almost a year of existence of both phones...
Im an apple device user and an htc android troll.. and was never a samsung fan..
but the way things are happening...i think i have to go with samsung this time.. its really obvious .. they want to spoil sammy's party next week. early bird catches the worm, and steve jobs just cant accept that...

Apple can sue anything on their vocabulary, design, symbols, technology and features.
They buy other hardwares from different companies then they patent it after the assembly.

I hadn't realized iOS had homescreens and widgets. The only real similarity I see is in the android application launcher. Is apple upset that their OS is just a glorified application launcher with other functions on the side?

Yeah the Galaxy S 2 will be king of the... morePhones definately need dual core, why is mobible computing any different from desktop in this regard? If we want to continue to have higher performance devices (which most want), then single-core cannot continue to scale. The thermal characteristics of the chip do not work, unless we want heat sinks on devices. So dual core or more is needed to increase performance whilst staying within the energy budget for today's batteries.
Remember that running your processor flat out will generate more heat which in turn will lead to more leakage current, which will give you less active use of your phone.

[deleted post]Galaxy S icons are standard Android icons, and a square behind these icons does still not make them looks exactly like on IPhone, and the front of Galaxy S is just all about the Super Amoled screen, IPhone do not use Super Amoled screen, and the single home button is just logical design for any touch-screen phone. The back-cover on Galaxy S, and S2, is all plastic, while IPhone4 is all glass.

Apple don't be foolish please! If your technology great enough who can copy it? Just like HTC Sense the weather effect no body can copy it! Please don't blame samsung, if wanna blame please blame yourself :)
