My 4 year old Z1 is more responsive and smoother than a S8 is straight out of the box.
Try a Google pixel and the samsung lagwiz will feel like it belongs in 2009.

I would definitely import this one. I want this phone but why would I pay $800 for a phone with no finger print scanner.

From looking at multiple reviews and photos I believe Sony still struggles to produce good low light shots. They are slightly behind the G6, S8, and U11 but all trail the pixel XL. Living in the US Sony phones are an absolute no go as the fingerprint reader has been disabled. No flagship phone the last 2 years have shipped without one. And paying $800 for this huge omission is a FAIL. Even if the rest of the phone was perfect, and it's not, this would and should be a deal breaker. I also feel that it's time for Sony to refresh there design as it is starting to get very long in the tooth. Since 2015 all phones basically look the same. When announced 5 years ago I was excited for this phone. But as every other phone has come to market I realized the only true standout feature was 960fps slow motion. And at the end of the day without fingerprint reader this phone is already obsolete in my mind in the US.
