Hey guys have you seen the latest videos of the Blackberry PlayBook running 'QNX'? It is remarkably similar to WebOS! May be if we give RIM a year or two we could forget about palm/hp and WebOS altogether. HP has taken too long to deliver devices and it looks like this could be the final nail in the coffin for them.
C2 isn't yet announced and you already say it is knock off it. You guy are a fool nothing else. In more ways then one because this designe is the palm designe of treo pro and pre .
Knock off Nokia C2
AnonD-40, 19 Apr 2011It makes me wonder why HP/Palm sticks to this design when the first Pre failed to capture the ... moreIt wasn't based on the phones' phys design issue. It's more because of:-
1. disastrous final decision making for relevant features going from the orig Pre and Pixi to the Pluses. It's beyond nonsense, short spanned between models' transition and obviously needlessly pissed off the earliest adopters for such essential and yet easily remedied final specs. Was the 1st nail in coffin at pre-HP acquisition.
2. which in turn led to craptacularly late market(s) entry AND >>>
3. the fiasco of timely international presence of App Catalog.Nearly every single >out of NA< Palm users at the time were royally screwed. No one could have done app purchases even if they wanted to and it was definitely NOT their fault.
There we have the perfect trifecta of how to (nearly) kill a smartphone platform.
Now surprisingly even with the backing of a larger global PC/IT services' corporation we're still seeing this sort of news.
"""If you simply can't wait for the diminutive WebOS device..""" - the introduction is soooo Funnyyyy...!! haha.. Who waits for WebOS?? No one!!! hahaha...
mmm sorry too much waiting for this, I'm buying an Iphone. Will try again in 24 months. Another WebOS FAIL.

It was much more advanced than Android at the time but the hardware sucks and the keyboard is tiny.
Regarding this matter, I wonder if HP veer is still a trustable device that we should wait for? What's so cool about the O2 software despite the Not So Attractive phone design?
