iOS has been in the market long before android was even known,so comparing iOS with android is just injustice right now but as you can see the stats android is not much far from iOS even though android has just started growing,i think COMSCORE didn't had any new thing to tell to people so they did this not required analysis (steve jobs must have shown $$$$$$$$$$$$ to COMSCORE......shhhhhhhh) to attract people towards them

in the us alone. how about in the whole world? think about it. its not only in the us that has a mobile phone. come on, admit it that android phone are now in the front of your iOS.

this is bogus! If you put all ios devices against android phones of course it comes out slanted. They need to put in the nook and cars which now have android in it against this to make it fair. This is an obvious apple lover creating these stats.

iOS translates to music, tablet and phone users. Android translates to tablet and phone users. iOS will almost always be higher given Android's absence in the music player space. I myself have an iPod and an Android phone so would count in both. Similarly those having an iPod, and iPhone and an iPad may count as 3 given that they cater to different needs of the individual.

is because iOs is better. Android fragmentation, security issues and lack of a good device is the cause.

iOS is probably going to be runover by the android running devices unless iPhone 5 turns out to be awesome. Still android should win in the long run (different brands and models= bigger market)
