Samsung is beautiful and successful so it's racist, calling Xzp ugly is also racist. But know what it's like asking who is sexier between a hot model competing in beauty paegent and a very old lady with wrinkles. So I would be racist if I'll say Samsung Galaxy S8 or the hot model is sexier.

AnonD-100398, 03 Jun 2017why r u trying so hard to defend sony here? it makes u look like a ignorant sony fanboy even i... moreFirstly, I do defend something here, and it's not Sony.
Guess what? It's the truth that I'm defending.
People are blinded by anything that isn't famous and expensive. Just 'cause Sony isn't popular, doesn't mean they don't have the right to ask for money from people, and if anything, it's the Indian gov't to be blamed for high taxes, not Sony, 'cause in every other country, this phone is extremely cheaper than the S8 duo, and it does offer far more innovative things than the overrated devices.

Lastly, as much as I don't want to, the anti-Sony hipsters are giving me too much reason to be an evil person.
They seriously need to understand something before judging.

Telling how good the XZ Premium is by its bezel size is like judging how good a person is, based on his/her skin color.
And don't make me start talking about how much they ignore the proofs I give them, while here I am, trying to look at their points and understand their statements and arguments.

However to be honest i love xzp for its design & color scheme more than s8 duo or u11 even with those huge bezels xzp looks stunning and premium.

Gosh I'm tired of replying to ignorants already!
At least try to prove to me you're not born yesterday, and I'd be more than happy.

Some of you need your medicine already.

Nexus 6P is smaller which is why it has larger bezels. Axon 7 is the same thing, the Idol 4s, the U 11, etc.

Karthik, 02 Jun 2017Your words clearly indicate how ignorant you are, Sony fanboy. The mammoth top bezel is there ... moreMr. Know-It-All "very unbiased" man, I do like how you tried to convey all of my statements, and it's cool to see such hipsters trying to do everything to act "smart". But I'll give you what you asked for :).

A large sensor is definitely helpful for high megapixel without too much compromise for low light image quality.
If you will judge it, Xperias never failed behind too much in low light, and that's because the large sensor saves it.
What mostly does the job is the other aiding hardware, like OIS, pixel size, additional bonus hardwares (laser AF, RGBC-IR, etc.) and mostly the image processing, and each year, they have always been improving and improving instead of degrading, and that's what most "average" people like you fail to realize, 'cause your mindsets are always all about Samsung and Apple only.

If you just ignored the fragility of your smartphone to drops and keep bringing it back to bezels (which you can't even prove how beneficial it is to me), then you are the one that's ignorant here, Mr. Fair Man.

The only fighting play of the S8 duo is the sAMOLED display that will eventually stop once Sony moves to that game.
XZ Premium, for $800, has 960fps Slow Motion Video, 4K HDR display, dual front stereo speakers, QC3.0 (yep, shameful to not be QC3.0 on the S8 duo), DNC, LDAC, Hi-Res Audio, Qnovo Adaptive Charging technology (that helps protect your battery's health), Motion Blur-Free camera (you don't know how useful it is until you try it), Anti-Rolling Shutter camera, Predictive Capture camera, best stabilization in a smartphone hands down, perfect software and optimization, superior software and support, and mostly, it gives you the more useful freebies when you pre-order it.
If FP Reader in the US is the main problem, then just import it from a different country that supports it, and it probably would cost way lesser than the S8 duo still
Oh, and at least the reader is in a natural place - I like how clever you tried to defend the very nice place of the S8 duo's FP Reader. Lol.
Again, I gave you the link to prove it to you, but ignore that and you'll just prove to me that you're the ignorant here.

"Xperias always have had stereo speakers" and you just made my point even more respectable, because all these years and Samsung & the most competitors, never got a chance to compete with Sony in audio department at all.
A flagship without high grade speakers, is that the "acceptable" thing you want for your phone? LOL.

Yeah S7 Edge already loses to it. In fact, the XZs is competent enough to give your S8 duo a run for their money.
Like I've said, it's a matter of knowing what you're doing.
If it is Samsung, you'd highly be doing the same, but you're an "unbiased" man right? XD.
I never said to go to Manual mode, Mr. Ignorant, or I mean Mr. "honest". I said to know what to do with the settings in Auto, like switching to 12mp in low light, and I doubt it takes a full 10 seconds to do.
And maybe you're right, that no one will take photos in Manual Mode, so I wonder why it is still there on smartphones.

It seems like I've already finished. Now try it again, but this time, make sure to read my whole statement and proofs before you turn out to be the ignorant here.
              Good day sir :)

                  Older Htc too ...

You also forget the fact the cam is almost the size of the bezels. LCD is thicker than oled.

The Nexus 6 had front firing stereo speakers, and yet have tiny... moreYeah agreed, I have the XZ, X, Z5 Premium, Z3 and few other Sony flagships, they all are bad at low light shots, add to that there are barely any manual settings available (1 sec low shutter speed) and that blind photo test from GSMA shows XZP was the worst performer vs G6 and S8, results are very similar to the low light shots from my Xperia phones, I just can't deny it and they are asking more money than the S8!!
Take a look at the blind shootout by gsma:

I agree that the Indian market should NEVER be neglected by manufacturers as its a huge potential market and india will hopefully continue to grow in thr next years, but criticizing Sony and saying flalse/not confirmed info about it is bad and dumb...

What I am trying to tell is that if you don't like bezels, skip the Sony. It's right in front of your eyes. But what does one do when he/she purchases an S8 expecting flagship performance and experiences dropped find skipped frames instead on most common gaming titles out there. Samsung is definitely better than this.

Even around 51,000 I would have booked it, but 62k isn't justified, especially when a new flagship will be announced in just over 3 months at IFA 2017 In Berlin, on top of that you can buy S8 at a lower price! I'm a hardcore Sony fan, always loved their phones for durability and quality software, I've owned every flagship except Xperia X performance and no I will Not be buying XZ Premium at this price.

At 60 k it's just overpriced good phone which never translates into sales.
Also it's costlier than S8 and trust me at this price other than hard core fans no one will buy it.
