The Nexus 6 had front firing stereo speakers, and yet have tiny bezels. Pretty much every flagship phone takes excellent pictures in broad day light. It's the low light performance what matters, and the XZ Premium or any other Xperia flagship falls flat in that regard.
I had hands-on time with Galaxy S8, and it does drop the frames. That's definitely very poor from Samsung, and it's one area where Sony phones trump the Galaxy S8 duo.

Maybe you don't like bezels as much but I wish they remain but are reduced a little. And I must say that the camera in XzP is poor in low-light but the best in good daylight. And if you want a good low light camera, go for the u11. And don't trust the youtubers always. Go test a phone at a mall near you. I tested the S8 (exynos) and there is evident frame drops in that phone. This is unacceptable from a flagship. Is it too much to expect good performance from a flagship. The last time I saw such frame drops was maybe 3 generations of smartphones ago.

The mammoth top bezel is there cuz your beloved Sony uses a big sensor (1/2.3) in its 19 MP camera, and since Xperia's design makes use of Omnibalance design, the bottom bezel has to be of equal size.
But alas! What good is the 1/2.3 sensor of? It's lot bigger than the sensors used in Galaxy S8/S8+, iPhone 7+, and yet takes mediocre pictures.
Most of the phones are prone to damage when dropped, and hence most of the people use a protective case. Maybe you can brag about your beloved XZ Premium that it can take falls graciously, but those mammoth bezels are an eyesore and makes the phone look like it's from 2013-14.

I had a good laugh looking at the pictures taken by XZ Premium. Heh.
Galaxy S8 isn't cheap either, but at least it has got SAMOLED display, one of the best smartphone cameras, very high display-to-body ratio going for it. What does the XZ Premium got going for it to justify the price tag? Mammoth bezels? No fingerprint reader in USA? Laughable camera?
Stop twisting the facts to fit your narrative. Xperia flagships have had stereo speakers for ages, but they always have been bland cuz of IP67/68 rating.
S7 Edge loses to XZs? In your dreamland huh? There's a reason why no top rated reviewers claim Xperia phones have good cameras. And stop with this "try taking a picture in manual mode" excuse. iPhone, Galaxy, LG flagships take excellent pictures in Auto mode, and that's how most of the people take pictures. The average Joe isn't gonna dig deep into the manual controls to take a good picture, and he shouldn't in the first place.

[deleted post]Mr. Freak, first thing, we don't get our phones virtually for free or for 100$/200$ through carrier subsidies(which is the route for 99% of the developed world to get a phone, including you). Second thing almost every flagship is priced higher in India than what the Americans pay for example. Buying a phone through carrier subsidies won't surely make you richer. There are many people who are capable of buying high end gadgets in India, even without the carrier subsidies you guys enjoy. Just tell me how many people in your country buy a flagship without any subsidies? I mean by paying full phone price first up?

Try dropping your S8/S8+ on a concrete for about a weist height with no such protection and go back to me with your unshattered screen that works 100% fine.
If camera is mediocre for you, then you really haven't seen all tests yet.

A flagship is supposed to have a high price tag for what it offers. As if the S8 duo is actually very affordable by the mass society though.
And you never heard its speaker, huh?
A flagship is supposed to have fantastic quality in everything, and a flagship is not a flagship without a stereo speaker. Quality over loudness any day, especially for something you're paying arms and legs.
Come and show me a Note 5 image that looks better than the XZ Premium, 'cause the S7 Edge already loses to the XZs when you know the proper settings.
And if anything, the XZ Premium and U 11 have the best cameras as of today. Like I've said, you must know what you're doing with the camera, but the quality you're getting is easily paid off.
Bring on your long list then I'll tell you everything.

And please check speed tests to find how fast the phone compared to the laggy Samsung . Also the akwardly placed fingerprint scanner of s8 may be nightmare for many. And Sony is the 2nd to pixel in updating software . Only thing going for Samsung is tiny bezel but still xz p is very beautiful looking .
