They wanted to create demands for ghe device. As usual it still backfire as consumer tired of waiting. Lots of manufacturer do this to prevent people from buying other phone. Same like Sony. Hyping about XZ Premium since January and only this month it is finally available. Most people are probably already moving on to other brand. I like it better if manufacturer who create the hype releases the phone immediately like Samsung. Some chinese brand like Xiaomi and Huawei is pretty fast too at releasing phone. Things that take too long is simply not worth our time. Look at Apple, talking about iphone 8 since last year. Public interest in the phone is dying down as we keep seeing newer and newer innovation from other manufacturer that likely way better. Just saying.
AnonD-442017, 03 Jun 2017Not really. People are willing to spend a LOT for a good phone, countless studies prove that. ... moreif they price this phone like apples latest iphone or samsungs galaxy device, it wont sell very well
Too little , too late.
Xiaomi is the better bet as even Nokia's service centres are bought by Microsoft in India.

From where I live (North East England), I litterally see almost everyone using a £500+ phone. Can't really remember anyone who hasn't tbh.
So yeah, pricing plays a fairly big role but not a "key" role at all, far from it.
These companies are over doing it, do you want to sell or do want to do drama? every other brand wants to do what samsung is doing with these teasers Including op5. Announce your device and get over with it so people have choices. All that teasers and some nonsense like U11 comes up which nobody really going to spend money on.

3310 is 30% cheaper in india than internatinal markets because of make in india. Expecting such benifits..
Bored of the waiting have lost interest in it all
Too late... The only gateway: reduce reduce reduce !! less than $200 but it's really too late again even to
Today is June 2, 2017.
The Nokia models 3, 5 and 6 were presented in the past MWC of Barcelona. It has been 4 months and here in Europe I have not seen any Nokia in any store.
Now they are showing us new specs about the Nokia 9, which I highly doubt will be sold during this year 2017.
While Samsung, for example, didn't present its Galaxy S8 in the MWC of Barcelona but they did later, and today I can buy it in any store in Europe. That's the difference.
What does Nokia expect? . Sell its phones in 2020 with software from 2017?
Pricing is the key.
