Moto X Play is now receiving the update to Android 7.1.1 Nougat Comments

This is an IP 52 rating phone, its more like water resistant than waterproof. I currently use this phone. Its a great phone, superb battery, awesome camera. All was well until i dropped by phone on the road and screen cracked. Still it was very usable (sometimes couldn't notice the crack). And then I did something i regret to this date, I replaced the screen. The crack is gone but in turn, my camera has gotten worse (front camera especially, seems like dust has gone in) earpiece to listen call doesn't work properly, (have to put to speakers if this is the case). And there's an annoying light right on top of the top speaker, cant turn it off when when the battery is drained and the phone is switched off.

2 months ago, it was Moto X Pure/Style and we ve never seen that Nougat update so far.

They don't create magically drivers. If you read XDA forums, you will notice that.

Same can be said about phone you had ie x play. 615 is a horrible processor. At least Moto owned up to it and are trying to get n update as soon as possible. Did op do That. I suppose no. I do agree they make good phones but to think any manufacturer is gonna support their phones more than Google itself is blasphemy... Op2 has already crossed 18 month tenure anyways. X play is an exception isn't it in this case

Vivi.., 04 Jun 2017Till now there is no update shown on my moto x play ..Is this a fake news GSMA is too eager to jump on those news without checking themselves for updates. Just like Moto X pure/Style getting Nougat 2 months ago. I'm still waiting.

Thank you Motorola for the news , finally it is coming.Moto X Play deserve this update...Moto X Play is a solid phone with great battery life after using it for more than a year.

I was samsung user for a few years than move back to moto, i think midentry less possible get twice upadate. Btw sd410 have the capability, s7 US got 7.0 last month, SD 410 will take longger to none
