(Really is it that hard to have a USB c adapter connected... moreUsing adapters wear out the port durability multiple times over, when compared to when you just use the port for charging, or the odd file transfer to a computer. Had the port on my last phone go caput, and fixing it was no fun job.

Although the Essential PH-1 is completely new, so generally only enthusiasts know about it so far. But on the other hand, if it will be strongly advertised, then gradually it will make some more sales, etc. And because after all as a first (on paper) impressions, it sounds pretty promising. Thus the more healthy competition the better.
