AnonD-90109, 03 Jun 2017Another boring headphone jack comment, whaaa it has no headline back, it does come with an ada... moreThat's an excuse actually by calling audio jack "old"
Yes, there's an adapter for that, but if you don't care living a dongle live maybe I understand you, but living with a dongle for simple thing as audio jack is stupid actually

Don't givi me crap like to make the phone thinner, or bigger battery, waterproofing etc. Since samsung can give audio jack and waterproofing with much more screen than body, also moto z Play have thin profile and manage to fit audio jack and 3000 mah battery

Monthly updates, I get it.
That said, question now is: for how long after purchase? 2 years? We're talking about a +/- $700 device here. For a smartphone this price I expect no less than 5 years of updates.

Not only security updates, but also promise me a guaranteed 3 or more year OS support.

From this day forward, to pay $800 for a flagship phone, the device should be supported for at least 3 years, 'cause I'm really tired of Android's sluggish software update and support.

Project Treble only speeds up the release of updates, but keeps the same support track that Android OS is notoriously known to be bad at.

We don't only need regular and fast updates, we also need long time support, so I can still hold on to my Android for another good 3 years.

PLAYER SLAYER, 03 Jun 2017I'd take a headphone jack over monthly security updates any dayAnother boring headphone jack comment, whaaa it has no headline back, it does come with an adapter, the headphone jack trying is getting old, real old. There is a reason they did not include it, I suggest you call their engineer and ask them. It's not like you where going to buy it, so why do you care.

monthly security updates are useless if those updates are to fix bugs only
