WHY SYMBIAN??? Symbian sucks. Linux was the best. Why did Motorola have to change the OS. I'm very dissapointed :(
re again to Richard Buchanan: the most obvious example is the k850 prada, the ke920 (5 mpix cam),v9000 etc.i think there is no point in keeping up this conversation.motorola didn't show up with nothing very interesting at the 3gsm,and the designs are outdated. if you select motorola in the left up there the first 3 lines are with phones almost identical to design, and functions.like each model has to have a updated twin brother(or like the v3 series 4) did i just say 4????? yeah 4 (if we don't count the d&g and who knows what others).so man just because your a motorola fan this doesn't mean that everyone has their eyes closed and the same taste for the old moto design, nasty menu, poor camera, weak mp3 player, and i could go on and on...but no point(which in my opinion isn't to bright).now don't tell me that the rizr z8 is symbian...that's e exception (apart from the face shaping thingy same old...)so take a brake...and don't worry i meant no offence
Ken, if you had every worked in a phone shop you would not say that the name v3 is a catchy name, it strikes the fear of god in you when you hear it. You think 'what has gone wrong with it now!'
Z8 is the name and lets hope that its a clean break for motorola and they dont have the same technical problems that people associate with the v3 series
Z8 being equipped with symbian is rather interesting but i think they must use the name "V8" because it sounds more exciting like the V3x and V3 before.
Plastic casing on W205 looks so cheap like the device would have been used at least 5 years :)))
"like man even lg who's on the mobile market not for long makes better phones.that's pathetic."
please, should you ever get the chance to return here, point me to the LG phones that are better than motorola's lineup.
re to Richard Buchanan. the rizr z8,and rokr e6 are the only "new" phones from motorola.the others are updated versions.you think i care about the face shaping mechanism?admit it:motorola didn't come up with anything innovating on the phone market for a while (i think a year).they make a new (different from the others-speaking of the design and functions, cause a lot are updated) phone once at 6 months-1 year.that's why they're so behind others.like man even lg who's on the mobile market not for long makes better phones.that's pathetic.
i really love motorola, but Nokia and SE is still above them anyday.
even though im not a fanboy, i gotta admit, they catching up! they should improve features like camera and the menu,. :)
well except RIZR Z8 all the others are tipically motorola, motorola will have to go down again to get up once more, motorola only moves to the future when the crisis arrive, its a shame...
"why spend money on something that looks the same and has very little things added?no way!!their phones are old-lookin' and boring.also i doubt that they have changed that nasty menu"
is there anyway you could do a little reading before you comment?
there is nothing that looks like RIZR Z8. it is the first slider of its kind with this form factor.
nasty menu? it runs the symbian OS. nokia fanboys such as yourself are left with nothing to complain about.
someone asked about SCPL. that doesn't come until summer. motorola is saving it for their own event along with many other goodies.
Well I do like that slider concept. A first that Ive seen on any phone where the top half tilts in to match the curve of your face similar to the way flips do.
updated versions?huh...why spend money on something that looks the same and has very little things added?no way!!their phones are old-lookin' and boring.also i doubt that they have changed that nasty menu.it looks like motorola never learns. that's why i'm a nokia fan >:)
On the 1st and middle picture of the RIZR Z8, Gnarles BarCley is spelt incorrectly, its barKley. Iwan
still the same old design... anything new? the design seems so old-fashion, or is this wat they call classical look?
