To me, the S7 Edge design looks more standard and classy compared to the tall S8..

Look at it this way, Samsung S8 sold as porcelain my late grandmother. You can use it in just about any situation, you show it only on special occasions to see that you have it. It is very sensitive to the coarseness and everyday normal use, and used just like a regular porcelain just now much cheaper (S7, G6 or new One+ 5) ... Almost all of this also applies on Apple iPhone flagship models

Though I am using s7 edge and had been using Galaxy device since S3. This is the first mobile I am going to skip.
I would like to clear that I am not a sammy fanboy. I buy Galaxy phones only for their display, memory expansion option and Cameras. And as I like android customisabilty
Reasons,
1. S7 edge is more than a good match for s8.
2. s8/s8+ finger print sensor placement is simply ridiculous.
3. People might say it has other options but not acceptable. If that was the case then why did they give FP sensor in first place?
4. S7 edge battery life is much better than s8.
5. No major improvements in Display or Camera, which is the main reason I still am with Samsung.
Waiting for Note 8 or Pixel 2 or even iphone 8 this time( if thats the case I will again go with iphone again after 4 years)

Samsung selling well because of mid and cheap phones that Samsung flooded the market with it not because of there flagship.
