I think Poweramp is the best when it comes to customizability and features, and i'm planning to buy it after my trial ends. But if we're talking about UI, the Walkman Music Player is the best IMO.

Thanks for this article, always thought the terrible EQ on the stock LG G4 App was a hardware issue as it made it sound worse not better but just tried Black player and it's EQ works fine. Happy once again

Can you tell me some music player apps which have "sort by date modified" method of sorting tracks? I really need this feature but I fail to find it in other apps except for PowerAMP (which I don't want to use).

I only use Samsung player for this device. The lighting effect is a beauty plus the sound effects that come to it.

apramey94, 05 Jun 2017Don't forget neutron music player.. Most neutral sound ever..I mean no signature of the media ... moreNeutron is great. But once the plugins are available, Foobar should be better.
By default the sound is same on both (as natural as it gets). But foobar's modular design lets you hand pick the plugins you need and if someone manages to port all the PC ones (probably around 100) over to android then feature wise nothing will come close.
Not to mention foobar and all its skins/plugins, is and will always be free. Neutrons high price is the only reason I didn't include it.
Also of all the players I've used, foobar is the only one that can properly handle metadata.

Poweramp,if it works ok on your device,that's it's one problem,it doesn't work well on all devices,if it works ok on your device,it's great,if not,then neutron..
