Thinner means there's going to be a sacrifice made somewhere. Either the battery will have to be smaller or OP will have to increase the length/width the phone to compensate.
Perhaps they're going to go full-Samsung and bring out a larger edge-to-edge curved display with a 18:9 aspect ratio. Or maybe they slightly improved their quick-charging and feel that a large battery is no longer necessary.
Seems like no matter which is the case, OP is going to choose marketing fluff over substance. We'll know soon...
The P10 is 7mm thick, so he should mean that the 1+5 should be under 7mm.
RIP 3.5mm.
Anonymous, 05 Jun 2017So waiting till a blend test... Trouser pockets are a threat to thin phones... And after the... moreBend test, ops, sorry, can't edit.
kakouille, 05 Jun 2017Nobody caresOnePlus is the flagship so everyone should care.
Last year it was the kind of the performance hill. If they further develop on that concept (I.e. not cutting corners) OnePlus would become what Samsung used to be: unapologetically cutting edge (remember Note 4? Filled with features to its brim).
So waiting till a blend test... Trouser pockets are a threat to thin phones... And after the last answer about the jack I don't expect 5 to have it. We'll see.
7.4 mm is more than enough. Why are they pursuing an even thinner phone? It seems like an excuse to cut down the battery/headphone jack.....
Still full hd not QHD
overhyped
I have a 1+5=7... Running Google Spyware OS...
If it won't have a QHD display i will just go for 7 plus because i don't think the prices will be far apart each other this time, i mean, it will surely be more expensive than 3t
