X8 reloaded. Ugh at least give us more RAM or Froyo, SE. Hope priced below Galaxy Mini, the color combo and the UI is very sexy, though.

Those who r criticizing this phone don't seem to get that it's been targeted at under developed and developing countries. It's fairly a low end handset and quite enough specced for it's targeted market.

i prefer X8. sony ericson will have bad 2011 year, market decrease , apple #1 Nokia #2 Samsung #3 and lg#4 Motorola #5 sony ericson #6 and Rim or blackberry #7 and other to the infinite i bought my satio and have an N8 it is a powerful phone really.

AnonD-93, 21 Apr 2011No mention of its support for OS updates? If it cannot be upgraded to 2.2 or 2.3, a lot of fol... moreHaha. I doubt if it will have an Android OS upgrade. It will be stuck at 2.1! SE predicts that if it will have Gingerbread OS, developers will port it to Xperia X8!
It's just an Xperia X8 with a different name. Same face, same hardware, same specs. Shame.

If this set has shake control, chargeable themes, clear stereo, clear bass & we could skip a song by pressing volume keys then i'll by it otherwise will go n purchase zylo..

sony ericssion is the main cause of android fagmentation they always the phone with older version of android like android 1.6 donut in the xperia series before

C'mon guys it's a low-end phone for emerging markets i don't know why you guys just bashing the S.E products, c'mon its way better than the Symbian crap and its surely upgradeable to 2.2 froyo.

I love the design and I also have a soft spot for walkman(c) but I'd just raher have an X10 mini pro, I never got the point in making and remaking these ultra low end phones when they are not more compact than the more powerful older models.

This is a Lower Midrange type of Mobile so Don't Criticize
I just hope this have a Sound Enhancing Chip and not just a Walkman Player that it will really separate them from a Non Walkman Phone
This will be a Best Seller for ordinary people who loves music with a touch of an android
this is a perfect gift for a Girl who doesn't care about specs and updates.
