Although nothing was wrong with 9.7', having a bigger screen is not bad. I would buy the 10.5' one.

I mean a canton of milk costs more than a canton of oil. What does it tell us? Nothing about nothing. Owning a tablet pretty much implies that you also own a computer (desktop or othewise).

You did notice that thos release was all about the pen, right? I guess playing candy crush on a device meant for drawing first, reading second does make one a person of ... Special interest.
That same person may buy a sports car to cultivate his crops ... I mean such people should not be trusted with money. Any $50 white box tablet can play candy crush, almost noons can draw like this one...

Android ? With the limited amount of apps optimized... moreAndroid does not have a limited amount of tablet apps. Only Facebook and twitter are unoptimized because ... apple (pays them to leave those unoptimized). Most of everything else makes well use of the extra space. Even those that are not natively supported due to the lower DPI they do get more elements on screen.
Also file managers , useful aspect ratios and better media players complete the trifecta. After using an iPad for 5 years, I can literally find no reason to go back. IOS is so restrictive that at this point it is a disaster (used to make sense when the platform was young).
Bought an Xperia Z4 tablet (found it on flash sale) and never looked back. Far lighter, proper aspect ratio (native support of website and videos, quite decent for reading using autocrop), sharper screen , waterproof...
