Sad that they didn‘t switch to Vega on those cards already, cause it sounds dope
Simon, 06 Jun 2017"AMD's biggest client at the moment is probably Apple."
Apple is probably the only company ... moreCryptocoin miners are a bigger market than macs right now.
Still, I think apple want to use amd cpus in the future.
They can build HSA support into mac os and definitely save from buying intel cpus and chipsets.

Apple is probably the only company that does NOT use AMD processors or consumer GPUs, which are by far the biggest products for AMD apart from semi-custom solutions like.. you know, the Xbox One or PS4, which AMD actually makes the internals for both. Every PS4, including PRO and every Xbox One including the as and upcoming project Scorpio is running a CPU and GPU from AMD. We are talking a hundred million units each. GPU sales to Apple can be counted in as a rounding error.
Apple is barely a client for AMD, selling AMD cards only in niche, obscure products in a few limited markets. Heck, Apple is not even using Ryzen, which is what actually gives AMD some competitive edge over Intel. What are you smoking, GSMArena?
Waiting for Vega to beat Nvidia at it's own game! Like it did to Intel earlier this year.
