Well oneplus 5 seems to be boring because of copying iphone 7 plus
Why these Chinese brands r copying. Not only oneplus, Huawei is in other side for copying too. So now iam saying that oneplus 3 nd 3t was the best among the upcoming 5. They could have choose their dual lens vertically instead of horizontal. SO SHAME

Smartphone manufacturers;just imagine what could possibly be achieved if you could just do a very simple thing- employ a proper DESIGNER!.,or at least pay somebody with imagination,creativity..it's a rectangular piece of plastic/metal/glass,why is it so unbelievably hard to make it look beautiful or/and cool?

I'm pretty sure that's not the actual design. Just take a look at the official teaser add from a few days ago - the antenna lines are off, as well as are buttons.

It is ugly in my opinion. They could have removed the hump for the cameras and increased the thickness. Would look much better and at least different.

The Oneplus One throwback design with dual vertical cameras in the middle up looked more refreshing than this copycat...Oneplus is getting more chinese day by day, and not in the good way.

Some part of me wishes that this isn't the case .....I like the slim design though I fear for the battery size. I like the matte black color but I hate the identical side dual cameras like the Iphone7+. Oneplus was doing so well given the leaks and images seen but this is the one thing where I think they messed up; not only will consumers see a copy and paste kinda product but Apple will be getting their lawyers ready for a lawsuit against this small company as soon as it launches. Let's hope that it looks different in the end at launch ...seriously Oneplus .....smh.

Sad, OnePlus, I was really hyped for your smartphone a month ago, when I started realizing its design will emphasis thinness over small bezels, weight instead of battery, being unoriginal copycat instead of creative and good. And that the price is going to be 650$, and there may might be no Quad HD screen, just ordered a Lenovo P2 instead, got the basics right, plus extraordinary battery life and fast charging, plus very low heat and an affordable price.

I intensely dislike phones whose cameras are not in the centre like LG and Samsung. a) it looks way nicer and more balanced if they are centred. b) When you're composing a shot, you know where the camera is! I hate the way Apple implement their cameras. And it's a pity oneplus have gone back to the old way.
