and for this picture imho, it was good consider if it was taken using full auto. . just like what google did with pixel, push the hardware and software to it limits.
Looks very good. Almost too good to be true....
that's impossible
Anonymous, 07 Jun 2017Nubia Z17 is better No way
So, did DxOMark have told them that it's nowhere near as good as even what the Zenfone 3 can capture? That phone (the Zenfone 3) could capture the milky way when done with proper Manual controls, yet this phone can't even capture all of the stars - are they serious about it?
Nubia Z17 is better
Pity he couldn't post a screenshot of the about screen to say the OP5 will come with 7.1.1 and make an actual promise to keep up to date with Google releases.

What about the OnePlus2 updates? Seems they forget the older versions.
I am afraid this will be fate for OnePlus 5 also when they go for OnePlus 6 and above.
AnonD-295903, 07 Jun 2017Who gives fu.ck about oneplus any more.zte Xiaomi way better supporting updates. Dwon the hall... moreI hope nobody gives..lol...But I differ on your support for xiaomi and zte. In terms of updates, I am not sure how well are they keeping up. Both devices got a terrible camera. Xiaomi mi mix with that 16MP and ZTE Axon with its 20MP cameras produces hyper contrast mediocre quality shots seriously. I wish there should be some quality standards set forward for all new smartphone models before they launch to the market. Standards should be points based by testing their Battery capacity/standby, Camera, Software support/updates, Processors etc. Our voices should be heard from now, when we buy smartphones by putting a lot of trust and by paying hefty prices.
AnonD-507364, 07 Jun 2017Terrible shot, full of noice Still no one beats the low light king, HTC U11I agree, HTC 11 's camera is great, not the phone though. When the companies want to limit and draw a line on user freedom with that 3000mah battery and no audio jack, They cannot expect that product to be a profit grabber. If the phone sales are a flop, They shouldn't complain anyway as Karma is always a Bi+ch. The One plus 5 boasting about its low light camera and f 1.8 is truly no stunner here. Google pixel's low light images are even better compared to the One plus 5's noisy sample shown here. Another company who want to draw lines on expandable memory. They should su-k it up seriously..
I hope all the hype result true, 16MP f1.8 sounds very good, that's similar to LG V20, combo that with full manual control like V20 and One Plus 5 will be a great shooter phone

Anonymous, 07 Jun 2017especially from a company that it's goal is to make a affordable flagship unlike Sony, Samsung... moreyour logic is completely invalid in present day. today smartphones have became cheaper and better. even moto g4 last year had great camera. g5 plus too got great camera for the price this year. Camera's are becoming competitive every year and gap is reducing. modern day so called flagships are completely based on brand value and consumer preference. yes apple/samsung/sony/htc is bringing few hardware features which are more of gimmicks than actually useful. its more of a personal image than actual product, oneplus 3T last year even this year is as much good and powerful as others and gets the job done in almost half the price, so if this repeats this year its the GREAT DEAL.
Im looking forward to this phone From what i can see when zooming it its a bit blotchy but it is a low light shot, roll on the the LG & Samsung blind comparisons.

Everytime someone from tech sites do nightshots is same. Low ISO + slower SS only. Never set AF, Brightness or WB according to the situation.
