I find this Michael Keaton look-a-like comes across as a braggart.
The only outstanding feature of this device is that it's made from Titanium. 2 pronged wireless adapter is a gimmick until there's more implementation. It's a poor man's Xiaomi Mi Mix with a poorly placed front facing camera. Assymetry doesn't sell well.
Flat small bezelled IPS screens is nothing groundbreaking or new.
Fair play to him for trying - but it's a tough market out there.
Gogoto, 08 Jun 2017Stop making modular phones happen, it's not gonna happen. It is a bit like saying, "Stop making racing cars and trucks, I only need a van!"
The more variety there exists, the more consumers can get something close to what they prefer.
Modular phones, with the same modules across multiple modules expand the user base and make it possible to satisfy small user groups. Like the Moto Z-series where you can get a landscape QWERTY slider, that only a few of us still prefer.
Even modular design that is limited to a single model, can have benefits. You can have a slim device with a tiny battery that fits the dinner jacket, and use the same with a more beefy power pack for more demanding usage. MUCH more convenient than having two (or more) phones that you need to keep in sync.
There are so many better phones for $700+
Stop making modular phones happen, it's not gonna happen.
It will fail.
