The whole problem with Asus phone line was every time they did something right, they missed on something else. For example, Zenfone 2 was great specs for ~$300, the design was kinda ugly but ok considering the specs the problem was it never got upgraded from Lollipop except by manual upgrade. The Asus Zenofone 3 series was great design, a much better screen, changed from Intel to Snapdragon, the problem? For +50 bucks more you could've easily got a Oneplus 3 with a better camera, better SoC (SD820vsSD625), a much better screen. To be honest if Asus wants to compete in the market they need to lower down their prices, keep their ZF3 series design language, cut the bloatware in fact companies with a small market share should use vanilla Android this makes updates faster and easier and extend their support for 2-3 years for each device also better distribution. I mean the ZF3 was so hard to get even in the US when launched.
Who are buying Asus phones now a days? Only a rich fool will buy. Asus is thinking like they are Apple 😁
They had a hit with the 2. They tried to go fancy eith the 3. Lets hope they go back to what made the 2 popular. I doubt it though
Well, regarding the Zenfone AR, yes, 6 months are a bit too much, and the price is definitely not cheap either. For the others, let's hope positive.
The prices for ZenFone 3 lines ruined Asus. Just keep ur mind, dont ever dream to get high profit with one hp. Gain royal customers first then play with the price, like Samsung and now Huawei did!
Asus presented in January at CES two devices, the Zenfone AR Tango & Asus Zenfone 3 Zoom and not yet to buy, 6 months ago, a SCANDAL.
Jerry Shen, Asus CEO, said the Zenfone 4 smartphones would arrive in Q3 2017 with competitive prices, aiming to turn around the money-losing phone business of the company
At least Shen notices its failed Dept.
