I think invite system is an good option.. Some people may not agree..
Instead of running behind flash sale where the phones goes out of stock in nano seconds..
Actually it becomes a dog race to keep running for flash sale.. We are not here to try luck to buy a phone and feel like a loser.
Once a friend gets a phone and invite later..people can share it over WhatsApp groups and buy it easily.
I think we should support invite systems
Thanks have a good day
i m having one plus 3T 128 gb i want to exchange with one plus 5 8gb ram 128 gb version as cell phone is only 7 month old so what is the procedure for exchanging
The OnePlus doing all this to enter premium segment, but i know no one will accept that kind of cheap strategy. If Xiaomi launch Mi 6 or any other similar specs smartphone around 25-28k than no reason to buy OnePlus 5 as it's rumored to launch around 35K INR which is premium price without having good service support.
Invite system. BC!! WTF!!
I don't think so and the invite system is only for the launch event I guess
Ahh. Being invited to buy an iPhone replica ?
Matter to be proud of OR being ashamed of?
In india people buy 1+ coz it offers flagship specs at lower
Rates and not coz it offers better product. Xiaomi never released its flagship (mi5,6, Mi Mix )in India immediately ( which are nearly costing same ) else one+ will have no chance. Xiaomi understand that even without flagship ,they still can get business in India. They very well know the mindset of buyers.
One+ too knows this but by invite system they are trying to create a hype of being a premium player.
If established brands start offering flagships at rates similar to 1+, there will be no buyers for 1+.
I could suggest an early access to buy the device from OnePlus webstore rather than an online retailers like Amazon where the device is available later. Also Amazon is running a survey sort of thing that would give 5 People in a lucky draw a OnePlus 5 each. So that way invites don't hold on Amazon now do they?
Wow.
If this is true, OnePlus will no longer be that popular here in India.
It is India and Phillippines which made OnePlus so popular and I am sure it will be a huge fail if the invite system is back.
Nah.
I think the invite is probably to buy a handset at the launch event and not a general thing. Oneplus has mentioned earlier that a select few will be able to buy the handset at the launch event. How do you select the few? By handing out invites and then choosing randomly. I can't believe that the invite system is back after it was specifically discontinued for being a hassle.
An invite code guarantees your purchase as it is difficult to book it right on the first day. It is not necessary that you have to have an invite to book the product. It is a quite common system in India. Even Mi uses this system as their flash sales usually get done in a couple of minutes
The invite I believe is not to buy a OP5 but for the event. Amazon India starts selling it @ 4 30 PM IST the same day. I'm damn sure they don't want to do this again.
I think the invite is for getting an entry into the event and not for the buying OP5......
Op is being a dick here, with a dick move to bring back invites. I frigging hate that.
I don't think you need an invite in India, since it will be available on Amazon.in
Zero, 10 Jun 2017It's or BBK wants to kill OnePlus totally and giving the sales to Vivo? Its an marketing strategy without spendinga single penny
invite code can be similar to f-code of xiaomi. there will be no invite system. the invite code will offer them a purchase for sure even if device is out of stock.
Zero, 10 Jun 2017It's or BBK wants to kill OnePlus totally and giving the sales to Vivo?Let the hype train begin
It's or BBK wants to kill OnePlus totally and giving the sales to Vivo?
That invite is so that you can get a chance or say early access to buy the phone at the launch event itself instead of ordering it later from Amazon and at the same time that invite will have a value of Rs 999 itself which will allow you to redeem it while making the purchase of onelus 5.
In this way oneplus can justify the cost of invite by paying it back to the customer and making sure only genuine interested people buy the invite and attend the launch ,who will eventually buy the phone or loose their benefit of paying 999 less and early buying chance.
Hopes this sorts it out. Don't spread rumours.
