Just saddening that the owners of Cyanogen were arrogant pricks and ended up childishly breaking partnership with OnePlus.

MrElectrifyer, 12 Jun 2017Meh, it was a mediocre downgrade compared to my OnePlus One, which I'm still using till today.... moreIt's always nice to bump into another OPO user, I'm still loving Cyanogen OS 13.1 the last fully featured ROM's from the company I think. I miss them, hate the new brand and logo lol

No Nougat for OnePlus 2 [a 2015 flagship] and they are happy about what we’re doing with software?! Some "2016 flagship-killer" it turned out to be....... Sad!

AnonD-497261, 12 Jun 2017You clearly have no clue what you're talking about. I am not a OP2 owner, but I am a OP3 owner... moreYou know, in not-third-world countries like the US (e.g. in Europe) you don't need a manufacturer approval to do whatever the hell you please with your device. Doing anything SW wise doesn't break warranty, as long as you dicking around wasn't the cause of defect...

"When we built the OnePlus 2 we didn't have the software infrastructure team in place we do now," sounds like an excuse to me.

mark, 13 Jun 2017looking at the previous comment.. people is complaining about not getting an update anymore.. ... moreWhen it comes to iOS and Android, yes there are many differences and both have their plus and minus point. However you have to agree to on one thing that there is still a portion of society who cannot afford iPhones and look for medium segments phones. That is where they go for phones like OnePlus 2.

I used to be the proud owner of OnePlus 2, my phone never hanged and never faced any issue of lagging whatsoever. But disappointed with the way they have treated us by not giving latest Android update.

Apple, 13 Jun 2017The iPhone 5, was released with iOS 6 (2012) and is upgradable up to 10 (2016). The OnePlus 2... morelooking at the previous comment.. people is complaining about not getting an update anymore.. well well its what you paid for an android so please expect the same fate to all android smartphone..

I hope people will stop comparing IOS and android because android has a long way to go before they can catch up with IOS timely update..

I am still enjoying my 4 years old 5s without no lag and getting an update to IOS 11 :)

The iPhone 5, was released with iOS 6 (2012) and is upgradable up to 10 (2016).
The OnePlus 2, was released with 5.1 and is upgradable up to 6.0 (Who cares about the years, it's just 2 anyway).

Why is OnePlus being compared to Apple? It's relevant. The duration of the OS support makes the "Premium" price reasonable, you get to use your phone for a longer period of time.

OnePlus users, suck it. Flagship killer, mon cul.

Anonymous, 12 Jun 2017Thank you oneplus for saving my money. if you cant support your barely 2 year old "FLAGSHIP" s... moreThis this this. Agreed

One Plus shame on you. Your whole portfolio only consists of 5 (soon to be 6) phones, with no more than 2/3 of them actually actively getting updates each season and yet, you can't even support your devices any better than other companies with gazillion phones in the market.

                      Shame shame.

Stop using the excuse that OnePlus3 will get O, OF COZ it will get O, that phone is not even a year old, what are you crapping?

This is why sone people buy Iphone... Not because of the brand but because they know they will be covered longer than using Android phone... I'm not using Iphone cause its expensive af, but if I could Iphone is my choice..

People are still rocking out with 5s' and will get ios11.
                          Android is becoming a joke...
Google is pushing out a new main release faster than a phone company can push out their previous iteration.
And every new slightly different version is completely numbered a new release....srsly
Android was fun and good during the kitkat and jelly bean days, since then, its went downward
And google knows lack of updates and lack of quality updates (think the first nougat releases of companies, even google ruined nexus 6 with it) are ruining android and turning people away to apple

That's why I'm really starting to hate android, and google knows, because they will change something with updates (separate security ones or something).
I'm forced towards samsung devices (for the longest software support) and I'm really considering to change to apple. Galaxy A5 2015 will get nougat sometime soon, and not even a company with 4 phones is able to push updated for more than 2 years...not even android's founder, google is supporting their flagship after 2 years (only security = basically useless, no new features from there on)
This is a joke.... It's almost does not matter at
