This is ridiculous, 2017 flagship smartphone without fingerprint scanner, what is the point to sell at all, Sony fail so hardly, can't even sort it out this situation, if I would be a boss I just fire some managers responsible for this stupid fingerprint fiasco, why just not incorporate separate sensor on a back? Good luck selling it without it :)

Im so confused by this huge problem that sony has. 1) they can't sell their phones through US carriers, and 2 they cant do so with a finger print scanner working.

this makes no sense to me.

No headphones incl... more It's interesting that you mentioned a lack of commercials for Sony handsets... I was just thinking the same thing before I read your comment. On the other hand, Samsung and Apple have been showcasing their products in televised ads (and online) as of late. However, Sony may not have the necessary revenue needed to produce ads as such.
Some would argue that in terms of aesthetics, that the use of bezels would depreciate the XZ P.'s looks. Beauty, as they say, is in the eye of the beholder.

The... moreIt's really sad that many people don't see the true potential of this phone.its pretty much like homemade food vs fastfood(apple or Samsung) with just a little bit of knowledge and customizations it'll be the best or at least the equal of other phones in almost in every possible aspect. It's a phone that can last one more than 5 years.so obviously it wouldn't hurt to give it a day or two to turn it into what you love..it's android so anything is possible!especially on Sony devices (and also Google) just Google what u wanna change..I'm sure there would be plenty of guides.(besides the software is 99% Google + a few great extra stuff and just because one doesn't need them that doesn't mean others don't besides I can promise you these stuff are cost free.for example the battery care app (some people charge their phones on set times some don't) (the PlayStation remote play I'm sure this one could be uninstalled but aren't there people who have got ps4?) and also adding an ftp server or... as a storage so that it is detected by all file managers and etc) I'm sure many don't use it but these are extra stuff that don't hurt or change the android experience at all (unlike touchwiz ( Samsung) that greatly modifies everything (mostly for the worse) thus updates are much faster as well (no one can beat Google though except in security patches) but the likes of Huawe andi Samsung are surely greatly behind. especially due to their vast different model numbers.

It's US carriers that are to be blamed for not allowing Sony to do anything to it. Verizon cancelled the stocks of the Z3, so no surprise if they won't get this device either.
