who uses his phone like this guy?
can we really face this issues in Real life???
no we don't!
because we are not going to bend our 600$ phone with this type of force
Not defending this result, but I think a drop test is a more important durability test.
Is for me anyway.
It's the way that the glass is glued to the metal frame of the phone.
Sony can really make their phones survive bend tests despite using plastic, so what now, HTC?
Its not built like a Nokia 6 :-(
SohailSays, 13 Jun 2017Who else already watched the video and came here? :p
To SohailSays:
I did. I watched it on my phone early this morning. Now I'm on my desktop replying to you.
I like this phone.
Zenodroid, 13 Jun 2017It's htc. What do you expect? HTC 10 is a tank.HTC U ultra has fragile back glass but the screen is durable and it didn't bend so also a strong device. We were expecting a tank durability here as well.Quite disappointing.
At first, its a beautiful, but after I watched the video from YouTube, pretty much I won't get this phone. Sometime I accidently put my phone my back pocket and sit down. I think if that phone is a u11, its a goner. I'll get the 10, when its price has drop a little bit more. I'm htc fanboy! To replace my HTC 7, I did get a redmi note 4, and I notice my screen flex outward a bit. A budget phone which I can't really complain because of the price. Saving money now for htc10 or op3t
Bummer.
Note to self, don't bend U11 in half.
++RIP..++
Even though nobody puts such pressure on the phone during normal daily use, it's still disappointing to see how fragile the build of the U11 is. Sad :(
U11 is downgrade from U Ultra!
