First and foremost, well done for the figures, math, etc. In a way really elementary, but in another really ingenious. As regarding the Pixel/s, yes it's not bad, and most probably with the Pixels 2, they will sell even more. Then it will be really interesting or let's say though, to see (apart for everything else as well ) a camera comparison between all the top and latest (upcoming) flagships: Pixel 2, iPhone, Nokia 9, V30, Note 8 and Moto and to be fair or for more variation, even the U11 & XZ Premium. It will be really let's say stratospheric.

Well I don't care, why should I anyway! The best phone, even with its problems, I have ever used. How good it was I realised especially after using something like a iPhone 7. I also have the OP3T, which I bought just to see what the fuss was about, and its Apples and Oranges, more than that. Pixel is one of the most stable, and fluid phone out there, love it. And the camera is an added bonus, though low light performance could have been better. If LG really makes the next one then I will hold onto mine for as long possible.

I am so happy that idiotic phones like S8 and others sell more, would be a disgrace to be a part of that anyway.

I personally think the pixel phone is stunning. I don't have one as still enjoying my HTC One A 9 very much however, two friends gave pixel and the quality performance is outstanding. In regards to the forthcoming new ones, if LG end up making one, forget it. Prefer the quality HTC builds at this stage.

Not even one million, for both of the models and they consider this a success??
Well the profits is that it matters. They prefer to sell less for more. This change made them loose the numbers they had, but they always claimed that pixels is not for everyone and it's only for a small minority of app developers...

BUT for just being a normal flagship without anything fancy but getting the basics right, it has to be cheaper, much cheaper and the design of the back also should be prettier to attract more people (even though I like the minimalistic front: no 3D glass or edge or anything like that, just a pure sheet of glass with a little bit bigger than average bezels)

They need more features. It's too "vanilla". For example, the iPhone gives you an extra button to switch between vibrate and sound. That's a really nice touch. Now they have 3d touch as well.
OnePlus has an extra button as well, Sony as well for Camera.
Samsung and LG phones have software customizability. LG has 2 cameras, wide angle and normal.
                          Motorola has mods.

Nothing special in the Pixel apart from excellent camera post processing.

I'm surprised they sold so many considering the fugly design, lack of SD card slot and waterproofing.

It honestly didn't deserve more, even the Nexus range sold better than this without marketing.

That's sad for a phone which had potential but cost extremely a lot.

They would have sold 10 millions if Google Pixel wasn't more expensive than Samsung, LG or HTC flagship phones
