Anonymous, 15 Jun 2017When "lesser" rivals such as Xiaomi or LeEco are capable enough to pack the Mi Mix and Le Pro ... moreAll my phones have been Galaxy Notes. The S Pen is essential for me.

Pretty disappointed that they switch to sealed batteries. I'd rather have a removable battery than water-resistance, because that battery will not work as high power capacity after some 300 to 500 charging cycles. I'm actually interested in changing to extended batteries that's triple the capacity.

My experience with the Note7 is that a charge will only give me up to 5 hours of SOT with the original 3500 mAh.

Looks like I'll be using my Note 3 a little longer, and be getting myself a brand new Note 4 as my an upgrade. I will not worry about charging with a Zerolemon 10,000 mAh extended battery despite very heavy usage.

Slightly smaller battery isn't much of a problem thanks to fast battery charging.

When "lesser" rivals such as Xiaomi or LeEco are capable enough to pack the Mi Mix and Le Pro 3 respectively with 4000mAh class of batteries, it's high time that someone in Seoul admit that Note 7's relevant design is thoroughly flawed. Reducing the battery capacity to me seems like a really really cheapskate way of doing this.

So to my fellow peers here interested in Note FE, I'd really wait out for some in depth battery test results to appear 1st before finalizing the purchase decision.

The expected starting RRPs by then could probably worth some more current phones if yoi can live without the S-Pen.

If note 7 comes this month then it will take on one plus 5, Mi6,Z17, axon 7 2 and Samsungs own S8. Let's wait for the fire works.

rynn, 15 Jun 2017launch later, less value. Note 7 FE, if brand new, should worth $649. but, it is refurbish... moreIf this Note FE is sold any lower, it can be granted without any future OS upgrade, but still allowed to have security and patching update.

This strategy to ensure a refurbish model do not affect any non-refurbished model sales.
In this innovative and fast growing economy, we should not allow refurbished model to create an impact.

I don't understand why it should cannibalize S8+ slaes, since the Note7 is 5.7 and the S8 is 5.8 inch, so the S8+ simply has a much bigger screen. If it would cannibalize S8 sales, then yes I can agree.

Why would they want to launch two notes. Forget the 7 it was bad and just launch the 8 instead if there is going to be one. We lived without the Note 5.

It is is true that everyone wants a piece of the Fire Extinguisher. I need one too. The demand will definitely cripple S8+ sales.
