Well, so Samsung will finally find itself on some sort of a double edge sword. Because if they will relaunched it now, in a way it will enter in the S8 (mostly the +) territory, and so it can effect it negatively (because it will be cheaper, etc). So in a way, yes it is reasonable. But, on the other hand, if they will wait even longer, than mid, late or after July. Then it will be really eminent the launch of the Note 8 (an immense shoes to fill). And so if approx at the same time (just weeks or so) then it won't make really much sense to launch the refurbished last year's Note 7, or maximum, Samsung will have to reduce much more its price than definitely predicted.

Well, I think Samsung is launching two notes this year.
Samsung Galaxy Note7 FE and Samsung Galaxy Note 8 so that people can have a choice.
Samsung Galaxy Note7, which was discontinued because of the battery debacle, is going to enter market as the sibling of Samsung Galaxy Note8.
Well, I think that is what is going on in Samsung's mind rn.

There is difference between the Note7FE and Note8 - the Note7FEs are already manufactured lying in a warehouse somewhere just waiting to have the battery replaced with a smaller one whereas the Note8s are not manufactured yet.

And the Note8 may launch as early as August, so they are probably delaying the FE launch to not disturb Note8 sales I think.
