Well, okay there's much more to say. But basically, at least, it is definitely better than before.

LG G6 and V20 have shattergate (fragile camera glass). If your camera glass is cracked, LG won't fix it under warranty.
Hong Kong also have this... if you buy a G6 before 25/6
Can Lg garantee no bootloop? Until you have experienced a bootloop you won't understand how infuriating it is. My lg g3 is lying around with 2 brand new battery, 4 case, 4 spare tempered glass, battery charging dock. And it is stuck on a bootloop 13 months after purchase. And worst of all officially it does not bootloop. Buy lg at your own risk.
I love lg approach to android but nobody wants an unreliable manufacturer. Have moved samsung note 4 1yr now and very reliable.
Still not worth it in my opinion. If it happen to bootloop you still need to waste your time running around and may need to deal with customer support which may or maybe not awful. All the phones in my family never have any problem even the oldest 5 years old Xperia SL. A phone that dead because of bootloop in a year or two is just awful and a phone that have a risk to bootloop is not worth your time.
In the European Union they are obliged to give 2 year warranty by law.
They will do this for the G6 but they won't fix the boot loop defect on the G4?

Since American Express automatically doubles the manufacturers warranty, does this mean G6's purchased with that card automatically get two extra free years?

Too late LG already replaced by bootlooped G4 with a nice shiny Samsung and not looking back.
What about the non US customers LG? I am suffering without my phone after the loss of my LG G4 (bootloop).
Good gesture & smart move by LG, we all like to see these kinds of sincerities by our phone companies & definately bring back confidence in customers.This should be a global offer, because LG serves worldwide.
