AnonD-677381, 18 Jun 2017Only people that not afford to buy an iphone 7/7plus are buying this Oneplus 5 phone. LOL I've used many mobile phones over a span of twenty years. And I owned the iphone only once, only to throw it away in frustration.
This is not about price anymore. Apple or iphone is just a name that commands that price. The cost to make an Apple iphone is just a tiny fraction of its selling price. That's why Apple is raking in obscene profits and its cash reserve is as big as that of some countries. The same scenario holds for pricey android phones like samsung, which I've also used once and vowed never to go back to again. It's not worth the price.
In terms of quality and usability, you can all have your arguements but definitely Apple and ios with its closed and tightly guarded eco system is not user friendly or versatile at all.
Phone makers like Xiaomi and Huawei make good phones, in some cases some features are even better than iphones, but cost very much less. But of course these factors do not weigh in or find any traction with fan-boys with lots of dough to splash and budget is never a problem.

I think is very hard for you to understand that there are phones cheaper and at least as good as the iphones. But hey, why would you buy a phone at 500 euro that can do all that a 800 euro can do, right? Maybe it can do more, but it dosen't have an apple on the back so is equal with zero... Oppo/OnePlus better get this one RIGHT, right from the start. I wouldn't give a plug nickel for anything from them. They still haven't enough support to handle the load. The OnePlus "division" from Oppo is nothing more than a beta testing unit for upcoming Oppo phones.

Anonymous, 17 Jun 2017What? The post-processing can change a lot (software) but cameras are at it is. But I'm not ag... moreaha, check meizu or xiaomi photos of movent objects or inside or dark rooms. They only do good photos outside with good lighting and static object. That's it. Oneplus isn't perfect camera, but better than meizu or xiaomi at the moment. We will see what will oneplus 5 will do. Maybe we will have two choices for good price : oneplus 5 or s7e

OnePlus 3T use the: Sony IMX298 Exmor RS... the same as Z11 or Mi 5.
And if I'm right OnePlus 5 will have the Sony IMX398 Exmor RS the same as Oppo R9s. We we'll see next week.
The top U11 use the Sony IMX362 Exmor RS and the famous Google pixel use a: Sony IMX378 Exmor RS, so figure. How they are implemented is what matters, I can't see bad cameras in any...

Samsung too has fake post processing that kills it for many people.

Sure that the 3T is not about the P9 even if it's not in that ranking. And see how high score some models of that brands that you afirm to have bad cameras lol. It's true that the brands that manufacture the cameras always are going to reserve the best for them, but call bad cameras the same that those brands have been using in a near past and even today, its too much:

I had the phone for 1 week ...like i said Good phone for the money but it has its faults. Customer service is a big issue for me. Huawei seem to be the best I have come across recently P9 I can't fault if you want a phone that just simply works easy to use stable like a iPhone excellent build quality.
