I prefer free apps, especially games. I think mobile games are often very poor and if (probably the best one) Angry Birds can be free, I don't see why all the rest can.
There are some incredible apps for free and I dislike the idea of paying for an app unless it does something truly amazing or includes something like non-royalty free codecs that need to be paid for.

MyName, 28 Apr 2011Blackberry overtook OVILook again, Blackberry is estimated to overtake Ovi in the future, but now is below. Good to see that Electronic Arts, Gameloft and Rovio have more apps on Ovi than on Android ;)

how many apps does a person need
most of the apps are junk, theres only so much you can do with a phone
Games on the other hand is good, hopefully in the future games will be separated from "Apps" so we get a better picture

These apps don't work across all Android phones. That's fragmentation and some free apps are written specifically for a particular phone model and would not work on any other Android device. I'm not surprised with the number of free crApps on the Market given the number of Android device. Most of these apps are crap and these fandroids are also cheapskates and would rather pirate their paid apps on applanet.net. Every single Android users I know pirate their apps from applanet.
I'm sticking to my Nokia N8 for now until some Android manufacturer comes up with a device with better camera or when the sgs2 drops down its price whichever comes first.

Quality and fun come first, to me, apple and android are pretty much the same now. But Amazon offer 1 free paid per day is awesome. Also, some free apps in android are pretty useful.

i don't really care how much apps android and iOS has. Now it's not that much of a big deal ( who would browse through all 75k++ free apps ? )..
What matter is the quality of the apps. I hate to say this but most of the free apps are junk. I use nexus S and the free apps mostly is like puzzle and other replicate junks. Well, i'm happy with all the essential apps and free though (whatsapp *free unlike iOS* , adobe flash, etc)..

i'd be fine with just the essentials (skype , messengers and the sort...) although it wouldnt hurt if u could have anything u want :P...i wont like a day to come when i say, o shit my platform does not have that app!

Please fix your Facebook Sharing.
Our of all the mobile review sites you're the only one that won't integrate "normally" with Facebook.
Example: I linked this article and only the URL address showed up. No picture. No description. No title to be seen...
Otherwise keep up the good work! Just fix that "bug" with sharing on FB.
