Sony has no clue how to make a phone they just put a 3-year design with the new specs and the head of mobile design said "this will sell well" and then some guy said "yeah but check this out let's put a 4k screen in it" and the head of mobile "make it happen. Boy give me back my bear I'm done for the year"

I have the xz and it one of the best though not perfect.good ... moreI used the z3 which was good and z3+ which sucked and when they came out with a 4k screen I was done with them their new phones are just bad for what they offer they came a very short way since the good days of the z1-z3. Even the new phone is good it's over priced and no one cares by that I mean less than 10% of the internet tech fanboys.

Do you own any Sony latest phone I am here because I want to check op5. I'm not a fanboy I appreciate every good thing and so I used different brand in 5years and give credit to the deserving one not just because I personally hate it I'll just write crap about them.

The camera is shit I know for u because u only rely on Superior Auto thats why when u shoot night shots u also use Superior Auto and it cranks up the iso thats why u say its camera performance is shit. If u use Manual Mode u will realise it helps in night shots

Phones are getting too fragile these days. Can't encourage a company for making fragile phones. The way Jerry did the test it was implied that it doesn't require much force to deform plus it's glass which by nature is brittle

Who, in their right mind, carries their phone in their back pocket nowadays? Especially since back pockets have always been smaller than front pockets. Sure, it was fine 10 years ago, when dumb phones (especially flip phones) were under 4 cm wide and 10 cm tall. But for the past 2 years displays have constantly been above 5 inches. Most of them 5.2-5.5. This trend is still somewhat common among the female population, at least here in eastern Europe. And when your phone sticks halfway through your back pocket, it's like an invitation for thieves. Secondly, if you're obese, any phone will bend if you sit on it (nope, not a fan of political correctness; you're not fluffy, you're not big boned, you're obese - trust me, I know). And FYI, I own a OP3, it does not bend. Yet I never carried it in the back pocket.

Cold harsh reality is phones need to work well in point-and-shoot, otherwise you'll be point-and-miss... as in the "thing" you're gonna take a picture of is no longer there!

Therefore they should work at above average quality on auto settings. For regular consumers, stupid people, n00bs etc. People who just point and shoot. Note that I do not say excellent, I say above average. I have never owned a Sony (except for the SE Xperia X10, 7 years ago, which was my first android phone) but according to reviews, Sony phones suck at camera performance. Their sensors are among the best, no doubt about it, but when it comes to camera quality, their phones suck big time. According to reviews. If you're a pro photographer, good for you kid, good for you. But stop bashing us regular folk.

But it only has 4gb of ram and 4k screen which is bad and it costs 750eur. and it weighs a lot almost 200g. the fingerprint scanner is on the wrong place and it just sucks.

Granted there are some major flaws in sony phones (crappy camera software for one), but you can't deny that they do make some major innovations from time to time - the most recent being the 960fps slow mo and 4k HDR display.
