BrianCoriour, 30 Sep 2021It is now possible but too many faulties right now. Wait till maybe 2025. Or wait till flexible screen is actually tougher and better quality.
Still with awful keyboard layouts :(
Lenovo, COME ON!

Lenovo is garbage. They ruined Thinkpad which used to be the best laptop. Now it is just consumer trash.
Y'all are a bunch of curmudgeons. It is a concept! And it looks cool! Why call for it's failing already? It's Lenovo's money to blow trying to make it work. And if it does work, and turns out to be a useless gimmick, and no one buys it, who does it hurt? At the very least one piece of this concept will make it's way into another piece of tech that works well in the real world.
Everyone likes to trash everything. I think its cool to applaud advancement in every direction and consumers will be able to choose their own path. If you had it your way, the 3.5mm jack wouldn't be obsolete ;)
Anonymous, 21 Jun 2017I don't that they are. They are a bad idea, especially given present implementations. I guess ... moreBasically a 5.5 inch bezeless , 130x65mm is the maxed design.
Screen big enough for modern uses. Small enough for one handed use and portability (a tiny bit bigger than iPhone SE)
You remove all ports. Add a removable back that doubles as the battery and created the maxed phone (you never have to charge ever again, you charge the backs while you are using a battery, a tiny inter all battery keeps the lights on while you make the swap).
Great cameras, under glass fingerprint and selfie cam, front stereo speakers (in the tiny bit of bezels that allows the 130mm frame on a 2:1 5.5 inch bezeless screen) are only added bonuses.
Obviously you use Bluetooth 5 for headphones (basically as good as worked at this point) ... And there is nothing much you can improve on that design. Everything else would be a gimmick. A bit of how the basic laptop design is the same for 3 decades now...

We're stuck with the slab design mass produced by Apple for at least half a century me thinks. A bit of how PCs still have the same basic design since the 70s. These kind of things once they find their shape/design they tend to stay pretty much the same.

My Yoga tabstarted charging problem after 5 months and totally died few days later. When talked to a re
On mobile technology, curved display now trending. Bezelless phones will follow then Curved will hit by the end of 2018.
What about their mobile launches
It's not like all laptops come with closable lids ... I mean seriously, we need flexible expensive technology. It's very useful.
wtf, I won't buy such a laptop, better buy a traditional one, it's more durable.
They should fix their product quality first. The touchpad of my dads thinkpad X1 carbon started to malfunction after 2 months of use. A quick google revealed that multiple users were having this exact same issue.
And their phones are kind of redefining BS. Many of the local shops don't keep lenovo phones anymore due to all the user complaints.
_underscore, 21 Jun 2017this would be epic(fail)No it wont be.
People might not go for it because of the price(which will obviously be high considering the specs).
But you can never underestimate LENOVO.
Flexible laptops/smartphones are future.
this would be epic(fail)
