The top end S8 (128 GB storage, 6GB RAM) costs $1160. Most comparable phone by price I can think of is Lg G6, but it has 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, SD 821 Processor and yet costs $620

5k for just increase in memory and RAM( which is more than enough for anything). I could buy a new phone with that 5k.

Close your eyes and buy LG G6 instead of one plus 5 at 38K.
If you want to buy the cheaper version wait for some cash back offers and buy.
