Anonymous, 24 Jun 2017Yes, that's not so nice, but you'll hardly bend it that much, normally, so it's not that relev... moreif your only concern is battery, get the htc u11 you will not be disapointed. 835 is made with 10nm. if you know anything about electronic you know that the less size is the transitor the less heal will generate...and consume. previews generation was 14nm. it is very efficent and android 7.1.1 made uge progress. on top of that htc done some very good work on UI. my htc 10 have mediocre battery comparing to my htc u11 with the exact same battery.

Maybe HTC 11...Compact ? Same hardware (cpu, gpu, ram, camera) but 4,7 inches and 130mm (and 3,5mm jack) ?

The bend tests are overrated, unless you're woman and squeeze into skin-tight pants without front pockets and don't have your handbag on you.

What's bothering me much more is the tiny 3000 mAh battery. That's what's keeping me from getting it, not that it might evoke another bendgate.
This Solar Red has to be the most awesome colour I've seen in a long time. If it wasn't marred by that tiny battery, I'd be seriously tempted to get it, regardless of those durability questions.

mediocre battery? lol you really don't have a clue what your talking. it won against all other flagships. but i guess you still leave in 2016 with "old" android devices and "old" processors....for that you need 5000mAh. for us leaving in 2017 with 835 processor and android 7.1.1 3000mAh is more than enought.
My htc u11, never ever let me down on battery.
no water resistence? lolol IP67 is more than enought for every day use...you plan to live underwater and it's the same as iphone 7? do you know that IP67 means vs IP68 from samsung? IP67 means that it can survive 30m at 1m or less. IP68 on samsung means it can survie 30m at 1.5m or less. life changing right? please get some reading before you post anything. your making your intelect look bad.

SohailSays, 24 Jun 2017One word for the durability of HTC U11- JerryRigEverything. *Inserts a laughing emoji w... moreso now people that doesn't have more arguments against htc u11, go for bend tests..htc 10 was the most sturdy phone he tested on 2016, and was a fail on sales...this "easy to bend" phone already sold more than htc 10, so i guess people don't care about bend tests...only people that doesn't have much to do. go see fire tests, blenders etc..they are all usufull on real life use..really...and drops from drones with phone inside a starbuck coffee..btw.
