Imagine this:
The fastest phone possible at this point in time. Tied with Sony Xperia XZ Premium. (Which costs a good 300 dollars more)
A camera that is almost good enough to hang with the top dogs. If the Samsung Galaxy S8 camera scores a 10/10, the OP is around 8/10. You get a ~$450 camera.
An extremely fluid and virtually lag-free software experience with extra actual useful features.
Premium build materials and build quality.
Fastest fingerprint scanner in the world.
In summary, you get a phone that is faster than anything out there but without premium features such as water resistance, QHD screen, top-of-the-line camera or innovative design. If the phone had those, it would cost as much as any other flagship.
This is a phone for those who do not have a particular need for an iris scanner, heart rate monitor, water resistance etc. Someone who can settle for a lowly 1080p display in an uninspiring design, but still wants a disgustingly fast and functional phone.

Yet again the oneplus audio is terrible, was with the oneplus one, the 3 and now the 5. Forget lack of stereo speakers at least put a decent audio chip so we can use our own headphones /speakers. Camera over hyped as per usual and has nothing against the u11, s8, pixel, iPhone or even the s7
At this rate it's a premium price for a not so premium phone. Am i the only one thinking this?
