So there is a limit in reducing the size of soc. So long the phone works, why bother to buy a new phone which is 95% the same as current model.

Genius strategy by samsung. Now the managers who decided this can be paid with millions of dollars.

Anything below 7nm and the cost compared to yield will make it senseless atleast for the near future..

They will not go smaller than 5nm. Its because quantum mechanics prevent s us from creating any smaller processor.

Honestly speaking you don't need soc on 3nm or 5 nm it will be pretty pointless, minimum perforamnce gain etc, Get any decent 5G phone after 2 years with 10nm or 7nm and you pretty much will be having this phone for at least 5 years to come without upgrade, because future phones won't be better than your current one.

10nm and 7nm will be huge succes even more than 28nm and 14nm for mid and low range. Phones with minimum battery capacy of 5 000 with some reaching 10 000mah no problem with thin design. CPU's will be at least twice as efficient and more powerfull, graphic in games will improve surpassing ps3 we will have 5G ready phones and all that in just 3 years with flagship phones in about year from now.

So far, only Oppo's R11 is the only phone available with it. It's not cheap per se, nor is it flagship expensive, rather, it fits the bill in terms of high end middle of the pack performance and cost, rivaling last year's 820/821 performances, all the while at a more attractive price point. Cheers mate!
