some people just don't care about the pricing,
how many people live on earth that apple reaches?
4 million stocks? wont even last a month if released universal. rich people don't care about specs at all, its all about the looks and latest. so, apple is taking up the advantage. but we cannot be sure if there really is shortage. maybe they just stock them so they can sell them on a higher price?. who knows??

It's the same bullc*** every year - short supplies, etc, and yeah it does release in short supply for like a week or two, then after that every single place has it in stock. Just rumors so people rush to buy them on release. No worries Apple, we will. Just get the thing out there already

Apple should look for other suppliers.. There are other good phones out there I will not get a new Iphone if it is very expensive.. Not because I cannot afford it but I do not buy products that do not value the money I will spend it for.. I do not mind buying a Rolex watch for example because I know many years from now the value increases. This is never true for Mobile Phones. It does not increase value as it gets old. That it is why it is important for Mobile phone companies to position their prices . So if the Iphone is very expensive then for me it has no value at all!!!

OLED on iPhones? It'll be a burn-in festival, just like Lumias with AMOLED, too many static elements on the interface.

If they're using worst specs on their own oroducts. That's their problem not apples. If they did the want to sell what apple wants apple can go to any other vendor and ask for the specs they want. Apple LCDs are already made by 3 manufacturers. LG Samsung and sharp. Not sure if Samsung is still involve but they used to. Yet they are same in quality. Because apple makes the specs.

I'm calling BS. "Limited" & "Could" just media hype. Apple will have an iron clad contract with Samsung to produce an amount within a certain time frame that will no doubt have ridiculous penalties if not met.

Since all iPhone 8 will have True Tone display, the OLED Apple buy from Samsung will need to be much more consistent than what Samsung used on Galaxy S8. This is the reason of the supply constrain. Samsung have to save the most uniform and accurate panels for Apple and there aren't that many from the glass Samsung can make.
