The price is very high which makes it a problem because of potential theft, the chance I might drop it, $750 for one years use ? How long will the battery last? 2 years ? Non replaceable which makes this phone very expensive proposition. If the battery was replaceable even then it's mighty expensive. ONE PLUS might be a better idea. So or Note 8 crazy expensive.

Reminds me more of Xperia designs for some reason. Note 7 looks so much better, probably the best looking phone in recent memory (S8 doesn't even come close).

Anonymous, 28 Jun 2017i know, but S8+ got no stylus, and too 'rounded' or curvy for me, i prefer flat design :(I was a note owner myself. and I was devastated to figure I had to survive without the pen. but frankly enough? it's not THAT bad once you get used to it.

viveksubhash, 28 Jun 2017The thing is samsung had a hrt rate monitor near the cam before the fp reader came along.. So ... moreI personally think it's more the latter rather than the former. the heartrate sensor is very accurate (up to 90% accuracy compared to statoscope test) so they are just trolling over fpsensor location.

ReesanVaine, 28 Jun 2017A little note for you my friend. there's actually a tiny barrier (heighted about 20micron. hig... moreThe thing is samsung had a hrt rate monitor near the cam before the fp reader came along.. So it either means the hrt rate monitor was a useless gimmick or people are just trolling about the fp reader

Sami - Are you staring at another self created flop show???

Well 3300 mAh - Way too little however optimized it is

Finger Print scanner at the back - ??

No MILT STD 810G - IP68 is old as of now!!! - We need solid phones - All our phones are active

6.3 screen - A slightly bigger S8+ will not cut it. 6.4 is a must if not a bit bigger

Rumores to be USD 1,000 + - humm

Dual SIM / Dual Camera / Memory Card / 8GB RAM / 128 GB Onboard memory / Stereo Speakers etc etc

Why cant you figure out the the Note is your Flagship and your category not the S8 as that will always be compared to apple.

If you want to succeed make the Note your flagship with top of line specks

The last good flagship designs were Note 7 and S7 Variants. The S8 is Fkdup.

Smart-phone manufacturers have well and truly priced themselves out of the market. This thing is expected to come in at $1400-$1500 where I live; for something that will be obsolete in 12 months and most likely sit in a draw gathering dust after 24 months - are you flapping crazy?

Based on all this, the device is underwhelming and merely playing catch up with already existing devices. Nothing new to the table.

Kirk, 27 Jun 2017When the real highlight is actually the screen... but people are complaining about a fingerpr... moreWhat's the bigger possibly; someone knowing your PIN/swipe combo or someone having your fingerprint? Having a fingerprint scanner means that you don't have to enter your password everything you want to use your phone and the only way for someone to get your fingerprint is if they made a replica of it (a waste of time unless you're some millionaire or something) or chopping your finger off.

Anonymous, 27 Jun 2017every time I check the comment there is so many complain in all phones here in site. most peop... morepeople are looking for the highest preforming phone. and being an ex Note user. I admit I miss my pen. but I just moved on and bought an S8. true. it's MUCH more compact than my note 4. but it's perfectly handable. and I've got used to work without a pen. I was looking for the note 8. but frankly? the S8 does the job for me.
