I think the high volume of sales of white would only reflect the I-phone market for what it is. People who have too much money / looking for an accessory rather than a practical phone. If they wanted to go for practicality they would have got the black. I think the I-phone can be quite a suitable phone for people but I think waiting +9 months for a mere colour change when more than likely in 3 months time they will release their annual iteration of the device speaks louder than this comment ever will.

This is an example of How much Love apple to their buyers. That's why I like more Nokia, the changes are significant but they don't sold regular N8 and "N8 Blue with 16 MPx camera just foer beign blue just because blue is better" hehehe

Apple has change a camera lens company to Omnivision so that why it took a year so that the camera lens could fit onto the phone..

only when apple produce a proper phone and not an fashion accessory ipod (with a poor quality smartphone attached) that's not solely reliant on itunes (which takes forever to sync anything you wanna listen too) the ability to use the device as a drag and drop usb device and incorporate flash. then i might be interested if it comes in black, white or sky blue pink.... until then its just a semi-decent media player with poor internet that costs too much..

Anonymous, 02 May 2011If you didn't know already, most companies continuously make modifications to improve usabilit... morehe's not talking about different models from different years, he's talking about THE SAME model in a DIFFERENT COLOUR - the correct analogy is saying that the paintjob on a different colour car would mean that it needs a new headlight system design based on the colour.

Why can't you reveal at the very begining that the White Iphon... moreIf you didn't know already, most companies continuously make modifications to improve usability,functionality, safety, etc. If 2 BMW's were exactly the same model but one was a newer (eg. made in 2009 vs 2010), the newer model might have a few different tweaks in there that you most likely won't see.
